Microsoft announced news this week that they have added GameCredits to their Azure blockchain project.
Microsoft Azure is an open, flexible and scalable platform supporting an increasing number of distributed ledger technologies. GameCredits follows in the footsteps of crypto currency projects like Ethereum as one of a few cutting edge crypto currencies to be chosen to participate in the Azure project.
Being added to Microsoft’s Azure, means that Windows developers will have more direct access and potential involvement with projects directly related to the GameCredits blockchain and technologies that can create value-adds for gamers and game developers using GameCredits api and related technology.
As GameCredits prepares to launch its Game Developer Center and Game Developer API, its important that blockchain developers have quick and easy access to the GameCredits open source protocol. We expect as more Gaming developers come on board to use the Game Developer Center and their gamers follow, more developers interested on building new applications using GameCredits will be attracted to the GameCredits eco-system. Microsoft’s involvement with GameCredits will only help us achieve these goals.
